Founder/CEO

Starr Carbo is the dedicated owner of 5 Starr Tax Professionals, boasting over 15 years of expertise in tax preparation and financial services. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Starr Carbo is a passionate advocate for community empowerment. Through her business, she has actively contributed to creating job opportunities and fostering financial stability for numerous individuals within the community. Her initiatives not only support economic growth but also strengthen the fabric of local neighborhoods.

Dionca Sorina

Dionca Sorina possesses the unique ability to transform a vision into reality through the development of sound strategies. She has a keen sense for identifying opportunities within an organization and consolidating them into a cohesive and impactful whole. Her leadership is inspirational, backed by a solid grounding in financial insights that drive business success. With her strategic acumen and unwavering commitment to 5 Starr Cares’ objectives, she will play a pivotal role in steering 5 Starr Cares towards continued success

Diamoneke Sheppard

Diamoneke Sheppard, a young prodigy, graduated in 2022 as class president, a prom queen candidate, and a member of the School’s leadership group. Her kind-hearted, passionate, and intelligent nature makes her a go-to person in times of need. At 20 years old, she is dedicated to pursuing her CDA in child care and has a strong interest in cosmetology. Family-oriented and committed to her faith, she draws motivation from her entrepreneurial mother, aspiring to achieve success in her own life. 

Heidi Pearson

Heidi Pearson  is a seasoned communications practitioner with more than 15 years of professional experience. She is recognized for her exceptional leadership, adaptability, and having exceptional marketing communication prowess. With a self-motivated approach and a talent for thriving in fast-paced environments, Heidi excels in prioritizing customer service and fostering collaboration. In her current role, Heidi leads dedicated efforts focused on crisis preparedness, live issue response, and navigating complex policy landscapes. Heidi loves to infuse her work with a unique blend of creativity, expertise, and warmth that resonates across every aspect of her professional and personal life.

Alicia Holley  is the visionary founder of Holley Community Empowerment, a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting individuals and families through education, support and resources. With a passion for community service and over 8 years of experience in financial services, Alicia has leveraged her expertise to create impactful programs that foster financial literacy, job readiness, and economic stability.
